Whether you are creating a new Storyline, or editing a new one, make sure to update the Metadata settings. To access this area, from any Storyline, select the gear icon in the top right.

Page Settings

You have three options in this section:

Detail of page settings showing page name and URL

1. Storyline Name: This is the internal name of the page and will not be visible to anyone who scans the page or the visits the Storyline.

2. Storyline URL: It can be different from the Storyline name (see example above). Click the link icon at the right to copy the URL.

3. + Add QR Code: Create a QR code directly from the Page Settings. It will be the same workflow as in the QR Code area of Digiphy.

Metadata

You have three additional options in this section:

1. Share Image: By default, this will be a black square with the Digiphy logo. You have the ability to upload your own PNG or JPG file (10mb max). This photo will be what appears when you share a storyline on social media, text message, etc. Below is an anonymized example.

2. Page Title & 3. Page Description: These are small pieces of HTML code found on web pages.

  • Title: This will show up on the tab title of the browser you’re using and it will be the name used when you bookmark a page.

  • Description: This is typically only seen in search engine results pages or when a page is shared on social media.
